Shopping

There are 3 main shopping precincts in Blackburn; Woolworths and the strip shopping in Canterbury Road Blackburn South, Blackburn North Shopping Centre with 2 supermarkets and a variety of other retailers and the heart of Blackburn Village, across from Blackburn Train Station, where you’ll find a local IGA supermarket and an abundance of cafes where neighbours and friends love to meet.

The other local area boasting gourmet cafes and fresh food is adjacent to Laburnum Train Station. This has been a popular meeting spot for many years with the railway station bringing a great deal of passing foot traffic. Buses also frequent the area and provide quick links from both the North and the South to trains that will have you in the CBD within 20-30 minutes.
